About Us

This is more of an "About Me" section that hopefully one day will be about us.

Marcelo Tanisho

Hi, I'm Marcelo

I've been a computer engineer for almost 20 years. Back in 2009 I finished my bachelor's in Computer Engineering, where the focus of my studies was game development. Due to numerous circumstances I could never actively work in the area, so I moved my career towards Quality Assurance, mostly focused in automation.

Today, after years of experience in QA Engineering, after becoming a father and moving with my family to Canada, I am finally focusing again in developing my own game.

Nowadays things are a lot easier. When I first dabbled in game development back in high school, I created a version of Snake in 3D using Dark Basic. I also played a little with Game Maker, which was developed in Delphi in the early 2000s. At university, I produced a final version of my 3D Snake game using XNA and building it for Xbox 360.

I'm finally settling with a definitive project with Igor's game. And who could imagine it would be a little silly game about a corgi trying to rescue his human that would make me most willing to get a project to the finish line.

I am also trying to help beginner game developers with their games — either testing or helping with the project management side. If you need help with your project feel free to reach me.
